Studiengangsbeschreibung

Dutch Studies is offered in co-operation with the University of Oldenburg. The subject can be studied in the two-subject Bachelor's programme as a complementary subject or as a second Bachelor's subject with the option of teaching at grammar school level. The other subject is studied at the University of Bremen. Students are enrolled at both universities, but their data is only managed by the University of Bremen. Co-operative students are exempt from paying the tuition and administrative fees of the co-operating university.

With 23 million speakers in the Netherlands and Flanders, Dutch is one of Europe's mid-sized languages. Oldenburg is the only university in Lower Saxony to offer a Bachelor's degree programme in Dutch Studies, which includes practical language teaching as well as linguistics and literature.

Information on the content of the degree programme can be found on the website of the degree programme at the University of Oldenburg.
