“Tú Phú” Revival: Vietnamese Cultural Evening Returns to the University of Bremen

Following its great success, the play “Tú Phú” will be performed again at the University of Bremen Theater. The revival is part of the 2nd Vietnamese Cultural Evening, a collaboration between TiC – Theater inCognito – and the Vietnamese community in Bremen, represented by artist Ha Phuong Nguyen.

The event once again brings Vietnamese culture to the stage and at the same time honors the creative collaboration between local artists and community initiatives.

Tú Phú is an impressive journey into the world of Vietnamese spirituality, music, and performance art. At the heart of Tú Phú is the Dao M?u ritual, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage. Traditional sounds, dance, and spiritual symbolism merge with modern theater forms – sensual, touching, and full of energy.

Tú Phú is no ordinary theater evening – it is a cultural experience. Anyone curious about foreign rituals, powerful images, and rousing music should not miss it. Tú Phú will be performed at the University of Bremen Theater on the following dates at 7:30 p.m.: Friday, May 30; Saturday, May 31; Friday, June 6; and Saturday, June 7.
