Short Profile
Timo Laudi completed his Bachelor’s degree (2018) and Master’s degree (2021) in Computer Science at ETH Zürich. During his studies, he focused on machine learning, computer graphics, and computer vision, gaining extensive knowledge both in theoretical foundations and in the practical application of these technologies. After graduating, he moved to Bremen, where he worked until 2025 as a software engineer in the field of e-commerce at neuland. There, he was responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying complex systems as part of an agile team.
At the DSC, Timo contributes extensive experience in designing and developing software solutions as well as in administering highly available systems. In addition, he has in-depth expertise in machine learning. As part of his doctoral research, he is working on methods and tools aimed at making applications of artificial intelligence more sustainable and resource-efficient.
