Call for Abstracts

Are you at the beginning of your research career (2-10 years experience, including PhD)? Then we cordially invite you to contribute to this year's conference programme!

Help shape the programme - we cordially invite you to submit a scientific contribution for which you will be the first author.
Please submit your contribution in one of the following two formats:

1. Poster

Format: A0 portrait format (841 mm × 1189 mm)
Please use our Template our template
Please bring your poster in printed form on the day of the conference
Our team will accept your poster on the day of the conference and your poster slot at the registration desk.

2. Presentation (Young Researcher Talk)

Short presentation about your research work Duration: 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
You are welcome to use our PowerPoint-template
Please send your slides PowerPoint and PDF file by: 17 August 2025, until midnight to ihme@uni-bremen.de

*The templates are intended as an optional design aid and serve to standardise the presentation; you can of course also use your own designs for your slides or posters. If you would like to include the conference logo, you will find it in the templates we have provided.

Language

Please note that both posters and presentations should be in English.

?? Submissions for posters and talks will be open from the 01.05. until 15.06.2025.

Procedure and feedback

After submitting your contribution, our Scientific Board will review your abstract. You will receive feedback on the acceptance of your contribution to the conference by 1st of July. In the same e-mail, we will also let you know which of the two poster sessions or Young Researcher Talk sessions you have been assigned to.

All submitted contributions automatically take part in the competition for the following prizes:
