Neurodiversity: What is it and What Does it Mean in Everyday Life?
Monday, May 19th - 10:00 to 10:50 AM
Human brains process information very differently, neurodiversely. Many process information neurotypically, some process information quite differently. This online seminar describes the phenomenon of neurodiversity and provides a platform for identifying one's own position on the spectrum between neurotypical and neurodivergent. Possible impacts on everyday life are outlined, suggestions for dealing with this issue are offered, and questions are answered. The goal is to gain an understanding of this phenomenon and of people who process information neurodivergently.
