Children on campus
Nursing and Nappy-Changing-Facilities
There are baby changing facilities in almost every building – these are located in the disabled toilets where possible, and if this is not possible, they can usually be found in the women's toilets. The list of baby changing facilities provides information on where baby changing facilities are located in which buildings. The following first-aid rooms are available as quiet areas for breastfeeding:

Family room at University Boulevard
The family room is located directly opposite the cafeteria and in the immediate vicinity of the Family-Friendly Studies working group and the campus kids childcare facility. It is equipped with sofas, tables and toys and offers parents and children space to take a break, study with their child or meet with fellow students.

The meeting room or AG FFS room
This room serves as both the office of the Family-Friendly Studies Working Group (AG FFS) and a lounge. It can be used for short periods of time. This room is also a place for meeting and exchanging ideas. Among other things, there is a ball pit, children's books, craft materials, toys, a sofa corner, tables, a kettle, and a changing table.
Opening hours: By arrangement

Both rooms are located at University Boulevard No. 10, diagonally opposite from the Mensa.

Family room in the Forum at Domshof
A family and nursing room is now available on the 5th floor of the Forum am Domshof. A welcoming place for students, employees, and guests with children!
The family room (50040) offers play materials and comfortable seating for a relaxing stay. There is also a meeting table and chairs, so that you can study or work here. On the same floor, there is a breastfeeding room (50307) that offers peace and
privacy.
Access to both rooms is only possible with a transponder. You cann obtain this from the Academy HERE AHEAD, Ms. Kinne, room 50077 and at the information desk in the Juridicum.

Play corner in the cafeteria (GW 2)
There is a large wooden playpen with toys in the cafeteria in GW 2. Here parents meet with children to play and chat. There is also a microwave to warm up baby and toddler food.

Play corner in the "Uni-Mensa"
In the lower area of ??the cafeteria (with a view of the lake) there is a large, versatile children's play island. Young and old children will find age-appropriate physical "challenges" here. In addition to the play area, there are also high chairs.
Toy Boxes to Borrow
Childcare workers on strike? School is closed? Nanny canceled last minute? There are many reasons why students or employees of the University of Bremen are forced to spontaneously take their child to the campus.
To make sure that such a day is as relaxed as possible for the children as well as for the parents, there are toy boxes to borrow at several locations on the university campus.
Would your department like to have a toy box? Then contact the family care office
