Course Description

Presenting your research effectively is a crucial skill for any scientist. A great presentation conveys information, captures attention, builds credibility, and leaves a lasting impression. This workshop offers practical strategies to structure your content, craft a compelling message, and design visually engaging PowerPoint slides. Because you will work with material from your own research, you can directly apply what you learn.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to plan, design, and deliver a presentation much more thoughtfully, so that your presentation stays in the minds of your audience long after you step off the stage.

Requirements

  • Please prepare a figure showing the most important result of your research project on a single slide.
  • Be willing to speak in front of other participants about your research project

Trainer: Dr. Georg Hafner

Georg Hafner earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of G?ttingen before transitioning into the field of artificial intelligence as a science coordinator. He now works as a medical writer and trainer. His enthusiasm for science motivates him to help scientists communicate their findings effectively. His mission is to bridge the gap between data and audience, ensuring that scientists and their remarkable results shine brightly in the spotlight they deserve.
