Specialised Bachelor's Degree Programmes
In the extracurricular two-subject Bachelor, you will study a major subject and a minorsubject.
The major subject is also responsible for the so-called profile area, which includes a subject specialisation, the Bachelor's thesis, the internship and general studies.
The Bachelor's curriculum comprises a total of 180 credit points (CP), which are made up of 120 CP in the major subject and profile area and 60 CP in the minor subject.
Teacher Training Programmes
The following options are available to you in the teacher training programmes:
- The three-subject Bachelor of Educational Sciences of Primary and Pre-primary Education
- The two-subject Bachelor for teaching at secondary schools : Gymnasium/Oberschulen
- Teaching at vocational schools
- Teacher Training for Inclusive Education / Special Needs Education
The six-semester Bachelor's degree programmes comprising 180 credit points (CP) is followed up by the four-semester Master of Education (M.Ed.), which comprises 120 CP.

If you have completed more credits than the 180 CP required for your Bachelor's degree, these can be recognised as ‘additional voluntary credits’ under certain conditions.
