“The Psychology of Mental Imagery in Movement and Action” Book will soon be published. Prof. Dr. Cornelia Frank contributed to three chapters and co-organized the volume together with Australian colleagues.

On October 20, 2025, the book The Psychology of Mental Imagery in Movement and Action will be published by Routledge. Prof. Dr. Cornelia Frank contributed to three chapters and, together with her Australian colleagues, coordinated and oversaw the development and publication of the entire volume.

The book provides an up-to-date overview of research on mental imagery in movement and action, spanning theoretical foundations to practical applications. It presents new insights into how mental imagery can support motor learning, performance enhancement, and rehabilitation.

The volume is aimed at researchers and students, as well as coaches, rehabilitation specialists, and mental performance practitioners who wish to apply mental imagery effectively in practice and teaching.
