Welcome to the AG FFS!

We are delighted that the Working Group on Family-Friendly Studies (AG FFS) is now also part of the BaS!

The AG FFS is the point of contact for students with family or care responsibilities at the University of Bremen. This includes students with children or close relatives who require care. The AG FFS is happy to help you with questions and challenges in everyday university life and advocates for the needs of students with care responsibilities in various committees. Small and large events are regularly organized for networking purposes.

Detailed information can be found here.

Main Tasks

The AG FFS offers students with care responsibilities low-threshold counseling—online or in person—supports them in sharing experiences, and refers them to appropriate university offices if necessary.

The AG FFS sees itself as an interface between parents and the university, is committed to promoting family friendliness, and welcomes your ideas on how to make studying easier for those with care responsibilities.

For example, regarding family-friendly offerings on campus. You can find more information here.

Once a month, a Care Café (formerly Parents' Café) is offered as a networking opportunity.

You can find current information about upcoming events here.
