Understanding the Brain's Role in Adaptive Behavior
Our research aims at a mechanistic explanation of how neural activity drives adaptive behaviors such as learning, memory, and decision making. Using the mouse as a model, we investigate how brain functions—from individual cells to complex circuits—enable these processes and how they are disrupted in conditions such as schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders.
