Prof. Dr. Gabriele Bolte

Gabriele Bolte is a public health scientist and has been Professor of Social Epidemiology at the University of Bremen since 2013. She is the Executive Director of the Institute of Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP) and heads the Department of Social Epidemiology. Her research combines social and environmental epidemiology, linking public health and urban planning. Her main research areas include health-promoting urban development, environmental justice, and the impact of interventions on social health inequalities. In SalusTransform, she leads the consortium and is primarily responsible for examining social inequalities in the residential environment and in health.
