Sven Bergmann
Studies in Cultural Anthropology & European Ethnology, Romance Studies, and Sociology in Frankfurt am Main (M.A. 2005), Dissertation on the Transnationalization of Reproduction Technologies at the Humboldt University of Berlin (2012). From 2006-2011, I was a fellow of the DFG Graduate College "Gender as a Category of Knowledge"; in the fall of 2011, I was a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin; from 2012-2015, I was a research assistant in the DFG Research Group "Cultures of Madness" at the Institute for the History of Medicine, Charité Berlin. At the Institute for Ethnology and Cultural Studies from 2016-2019, I worked on two research projects on the social and cultural problematization of plastic waste in the oceans; since April 2019, I have been a research assistant at the German Maritime Museum in Bremerhaven.
