After four years, our department's library has reopened

On October 22, 2025, a small opening ceremony was held, featuring speeches by Mrs. Müller, the Director of SuUB, and Prof. Vellekoop, the Dean of Faculty 1.

In addition to books and journals, the department library also offers various events, courses and specialized databases, according to Mrs. Müller. She also announced, that a small lounge area will be added in the coming months and the outdoor signage will be redesigned.

Prof. Vellekoop thanked the SuUB team and the Department Library Committee for reestablishing the library, which holds 30.000 books and journals on physics and electrical engineering. The lighting has been converted to LED, and the number of Wi-Fi hotspots has been increased. In addition, the study spaces are equipped with power outlets and internet connections.
