  we, the Stuga MAC, are very happy to welcome you at the university and in our ranks. If you have any problems, questions, suggestions or any other things, we are always there for you and support you wherever possible. We also organise one or the other event and try to sweeten your everyday life at the university a little bit.

• Welcome by the ZeMKI (Master)

  Dear new Master students,
  Welcome! We are very pleased that you have decided to study for the Master Digital Media and Society. Together with you we will go through the different phases of the study programme. We wish you a good start with lots of good humour, curiosity and great experiences. We will do our best to offer you the best possible introduction to student life.
  
  The orientation week serves as an orientation at the university as well as to get to know new people. We would like to make both aspects possible for you. But to do so, we also need your help, openness and curiosity. We would like to encourage you to approach the event formats and future fellow students openly.
  
  We would also like to encourage you to register with StudIP - the digital learning platform of the University of Bremen (https://elearning.uni-bremen.de/). There you can register for your courses in the first semester and at the "Einrichtung: Zentrum für Medien-, Kommunikations- und Informationsforschung (ZeMKI)".  If you can't make it to the O-Week in person, check out the link with all the information about your master program you need: www.youtube.com/watch

• Get Together at the Unisee

  At the end of the first day, we will all meet together at the Unisee. Here you can all get to know each other a bit better and drink a beer or two together.

• City Rallye

  Take part in our city rallyee. We meet at the Neptune Fountain on the Domshof and set off from there.

• Pub Crawl (Viertel)

  Pub crawl in the "Bremer Viertel".
  We meet at "Osterdeich" in the Viertel (where the ferry departs) and move from there to pubs and bars in the district. Let yourself be enchanted by the golden glow of the beer. Socialize and make contacts!
  
  Before that you can join the StugA at the Osterdeich (at 4pm) and play flunkyball.

• Breakfast with the StugA MAC

  Here it is again, the next day. Is there a better way to start it than with a cozy breakfast with your future fellow students? After all, a good and balanced breakfast is part of a healthy lifestyle.
  Stuga MAC is happy to take care of that! To support us, please bring a few treats of your choice. Whether meat, vegetarian, or vegan — it's the variety that counts. Drinks are also welcome, of course!
  Together, we can start the day and review the week. Maybe you can already plan the first days of the new semester with your new friends? Or just relax and sip a coffee, just as you like.
