Welcome to the UniBremenSOLAR cooperative!

Dear colleagues, dear students,

We are delighted that we can team up with you all to drive this project forward.

The PV solar panels which we have erected on the roofs of several buildings at Bremen University have been producing green electricity since 2011. We started with 4 buildings, added a further 2 in 2014, and the system on the roof of the BIBA building went into operation most recently in 2023.

We would like to produce even more regenerative energy in the future and thus play our part in the green energy transition. We can only achieve this goal with your help and your commitment!

The preliminary work to establish the UniBremenSOLAR eG was undertaken by the Environmental Management at the University of Bremen.
