Introduction
J?rg Freiling is the Head of the LEMEX Chair in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Business & Economics and a second doctorate (habilitation) in business studies from Ruhr University Bochum as well. J?rg Freiling was Visiting Professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy; Innsbruck University, Austria; St. Petersburg State University, Russia; Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo at Pachuca, Mexico; Jagiellonian University of Cracow, Poland; and University of Warsaw, Poland. From 2009 until 2011, J?rg Freiling was Dean of Study Affairs. Since 2011 until today, he is Vice Dean of the Faculty for Business Studies and Economics.
J?rg Freiling is editor of the Journal of Competences, Strategy and Management (JCSM) and member of several editorial and advisory boards like Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship and Management (JEMI); Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Emerging Economies (JEIEE); International Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Management (IJEIM); Management: Theory and Practice; Entrepreneurship Business and Economics Review (EBER); Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM); Austrian Management Review (AtMR).
His research interests are: international & transnational entrepreneurship; migration & diaspora entrepreneurship; refugee entrepreneurship; entrepreneurship theory; entrepreneurial ecosystems; incubators & accelerators; entrepreneurial marketing; business model innovations.
