You can now register for a wide range of language courses offered by the Language Center of the Universities in the Land of Bremen (SZHB) in the 2025/2026 winter semester. The semester courses take place weekly and usually run for the entire semester (15 weeks), but compact formats and weekend courses are also available. Our courses take place at (and are open to) all four public universities in Bremen. Many of the Spanish and French courses are held at the Instituto Cervantes or the Institut Fran?ais.

The majority of our courses take place on-site, with online learning platforms being used to implement engaging and varied communication and learning arrangements. Some courses are also offered entirely online or in hybrid settings. Detailed information can be found in the respective course descriptions.
