Pictures from the 30th anniversary celebration

On June 26, 2025, the ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of the Language Center of the Universities in the Land of Bremen (SZHB) took place. Together with guests from politics, academia, and higher education, we celebrated this special occasion.

After welcoming remarks by Kathrin Moosdorf (Senator for Environment, Climate, and Science), Dr. Mandy Boehnke (Vice President of the University of Bremen), and Dr. Astrid Buschmann-G?bels (Deputy Director of the SZHB), the duo Yaku from the University of the Arts provided musical entertainment.

A special highlight of the program was the panel discussion on “Language Learning in Higher Education Contexts – Past, Present, and Future,” which included representatives from the Language Center and students.

The event concluded with a reception, champagne and refreshments.
