Project Application Successful
Our project is entering its third round from 2025-2029! Funded by the DAAD, we will continue to pursue established activities under the name Lehramt International: Reflecting Diversity and Inclusion in Teacher Education.
These include the expansion of the practical semester abroad, international expansion of teaching through digital cooperation and excursions, the establishment of a research seminar for internationally oriented theses and the continuation of the International Teaching Week 2025 and Summer School 2026 events. We look forward to further cooperation with our partners in the IO and ZfLB.

International visit to teacher training in Bremen
At the beginning of December, we have a visit from Canada - David Montemurro (University of Toronto) and Ferris Grant (Central Technical School Toronto) are accompanying Bremen students on their practical semester in Toronto. We want to give our guests an insight into the local school system and teacher training so that they can get an impression of our students' backgrounds. The programme includes school observations at Gesamtschule West and Alexander von Humboldt Gymnasium, a visit to the State Institute for Schools and appointments in various FB12 working groups.
