Curriculum Vitae

Gwen is a PhD student in the Digital Media Lab at the University of Bremen.
His research focuses on AI-driven player modelling and adaptive system design in serious games, aiming to enhance player engagement through personalized and dynamic gameplay experiences.
His doctoral studies are funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
Prior to his PhD, he obtained an Master of Science degree in Serious Games and Virtual Reality from the University of Glasgow, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Game Design.
He also has professional experience at leading Chinese game companies such as NetEase Games and Bilibili Games, where he worked as a system and level designer on several large-scale commercial projects.
His professional practice has primarily focused on AI system design, player behavior analysis, and game commercialization strategies.
